Wood and Wire Music was founded by guitarist Jim Goodin in 1998. Initially a vehicle for his own recordings, it's purpose began to widen through discussions and collaborations with new friends during 2002.

The range of music here on Wood and Wire is indeed varied but the unity of the artists is held by a belief in a 'common thread running through'.
